e-Qual provides a wide range of functions for suppliers and system administrators. The supplier who wishes to be registered with a local government body which uses e-Qual can add, view and modify his information by connecting to the local government body’s site. A user-friendly form has to be filled in online. Instructions are given to ensure that the form is completed correctly.
The information required: personal data, qualifications, legal requirements necessary for the legal representative, the directors, the attorneys and the technical directors.
The system administrators are able to check and validate the suppliers’ data, make advanced searches, notify via email, view and print detailed reports regarding events.
e-Qual is easily installed on Internet Information Server (IIS). It is based on SQL Server. No additional licences are required and it has a very simple user interface which is similar to the paper forms. The software’s security is based on the authenticity of the user and it monitors all user and product manager activity.
